15-Year-Old Charged With Murder In England
A 15-year-old boy appeared in Sheffield Magistrates’ Court in England this morning [May 28] charged with the murder of 15-year-old Bermudian Samuel Baker, who was fatally stabbed on May 24th.
The South Yorkshire police said, “A Sheffield teenager who died from stab wounds has been formally identified as 15-year-old Samuel Baker.
“Formal identification took place today [Monday 28 May] after the teenager, from the Lowedges area of Sheffield, died in hospital last Thursday [24 May].
“His family, who continue to be supported by officers, have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
“A 15-year-old boy, also from the Lowedges area, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with murder. He was remanded to appear at Sheffield Crown Court tomorrow [Tuesday 29 May].
“At around 7.50pm on Thursday 24 May, officers responded to reports a 15-year-old boy had been stabbed on Lowedges Road. The teenager was taken to hospital but was sadly pronounced dead just after 8.50pm.
“Officers are continuing to appeal for information in connection to the investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident number 829 of 24 May. Anonymous information can also be given to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
